John A. Costello

John A. Costello began his career in the title business with Title Stream in April 1999. Prior to joining Stewart Title of Louisiana, now Title Stream, John was a mortgage loan officer for 5 years, originating both conforming and non-conforming loans. As the marketing director for Title Stream’s Metairie office, he has learned every aspect of the title process, from processing contracts to close to solving complex title issues. In 2004 John was awarded Affiliate of the Year by the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors. In February 2012, John earned his Notary commission for the State of Louisiana and has performed hundreds of closings since earning his commission. John is also a Licensed title insurance agent in both Louisiana and Mississippi. He is a member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors Affiliate committee, Past Vice President and past President of the Mortgage Lender’s Association of Greater New Orleans, member of the Louisiana and National Notary Association. He finds conducting closings for buyers and sellers (especially first-time home buyers) and solving a complex title issue is the most gratifying part of the job. John is a native of Queens, New York and his personal interest include running, cycling, model train collecting and snowboarding.
